For whom? Schools which offer expatriation as part fo
their academic programs. Students are the final consumers.
What? We would like to facilitate the exchange of
information between schools and their students.
How? By selling a mobile application to schools. By
having and controlling this app, schools will allow students to get access
to a large quantity of information regarding the different moment of their
trip: before, during and after.
A collaborative app Travelizi provides basic information from our large data
base regarding travelling matter: administrative requirements, basic tips
& places to be.
Schools are invited to add all the information they
currently have in hand regarding countries thanks to past students
experiences and schools' partnerships information.
Students are invited to fill up and enrich the
application based on their own experience.
How does the app work?
For students
Our application offers a main menu that invites students to select first
the continent, then the city and finally the category related to what they
are looking for.
For example, if a student is looking for an accomodation in Seoul in
South Korea, he will click on the "accomodation" icon. A page with the
different types of reliable accomodations will appear accompagnied by a
photo. Then, the student clicks on the accomodation he is interesting in
to get more information about it.
Here is the different categories of information students can access and
fill them up through their own experience:
Administration Students will have access to all
necessary step to know and to reach before leaving to a specific
country: get some documents, create a visa, to get vaccinated, create
a local bank account...
Let's eat & drink Students will have access to
places to prioritize and to avoid regarding food.
Let's sleep Students will get information about
accomodation: price, process...
Let's hang out Students will have access to day
& night activities.
Let's visit Students will get the list of the
monuments and places to visit.
Let's move Students will know the different
transport is better to ride with.
Photos Students will share their own photos
they took during their trip.
As a collaborative app, students have access to add any kind of
information or photos they want to share by clicking on the "add" button
on the bottom of the app.
For schools
Schools have a dedicated platform. Therefore, for each category, the
school will be able to add information and to manage the app as it wants.
Here is our
mockup, for a clearer and a visual understanding of the app.
Fonctionnalities
There are two plateforms: one dedicated for the school & another one for
students. It is the same platform for each target but they do not have the
same access. First, there is a sign up page for both target.
After having suscribed tor signed up to the app, each target gets to the
homepage. It shows the different continents. After having chosen the
continents, the target select a city in which the school has universities
as partners.
Once the city has been selected, we thought about a circular menu with
icons for each proposed category: accomodation, transportation, eat &
drinks, visits, night out, administrative process and photos.
Each category is divided into subdivision to have a better insight of each
category. The subcategories are accompagnied by photos.
An "add" button is present on each page in order to add content both from
the school's side and from students' side. So, each target can publish a
photo in the Photo's category and what we called a "ticket" which is a
post made up with text and a photo.
A "back to home page" and a "back" button are inserted on all pages to
facilitate navigation on the application.
Aesthetic aspect
The application is in the shades of purple and lavender. Purple is the
color of softness and dream, which is consistent for a travel app. One of
its shades, lavender, further accentuates this reassuring and serene
aspect, which is perfectly in line with what we sell.
The application is generally quite refined and only presents the
essential.

The movie "L'Auberge Rouge", shows exactly the difficulies that
students face by going abroad especially european students that are
enrolled in the Erasmus program. There is a lot of barriers that
prevent students to really enjoy their studies abroad.
